How do I get started?

Call us or fill out the quote form with some basic information about your pool. If it’s a rectangle we can price it in minutes. Otherwise we’ll give you a ballpark and arrange a time to precisely measure in person.

How is my cover priced?

Rectangle pools can usually be priced on the call. Freeform or unusual pools get a ballpark first. After we measure on site, your pool is drawn in AutoCAD and you get a firm, to-the-penny quote within 3 days.

What do I pay up front?

A 25% deposit places the order. The balance isn’t due until your cover is installed.

How long does it take to get my cover?

Stock covers are available immediately. We typically arrange installations for Saturdays. Custom covers typically take 1 to 4 weeks to be manufactured, depending on the time of the year and the complexity of the cover design.

Does it matter what kind of patio I have?

No, we have different anchor methods for different patios. Whether concrete, hardscape pavers, decking, grass or even stone like marble or travertine, we have a solution. We only use the best Hilti drill bits available, and we will core drill with a Hilti diamond bit for applications that call for it.

Can you cover a pool with obstructions like a waterfall, raised wall or dive rock?

Yes. We regularly cover pools with waterfalls, retaining walls, diving boards, slides and handrails that can’t be removed.

Which cover should I choose?

It comes down to budget, how much sun you want blocked and how clean you want the pool at opening. MeycoLite is the most popular and most budget friendly, RuggedMesh blocks 99% of light, and PermaGuard is solid for the cleanest opening. Compare all three.

What colors can I choose?

Available colors include green, blue, mocha, gray or black, depending on cover material selection.

What comes with a Meyco cover?

UV-resistant marine thread, double perimeter webbing, stainless steel springs, brass anchors that won’t rust or stain, a 12-year warranty, a cover storage bag and a cover tool.

How long will a Meyco cover last?

It’s very common for a Meyco cover to last 15 years or more. We’ve replaced covers that were over 25 years old. Every cover carries Meyco’s 12-year warranty.

Can you re-use my existing anchors?

On a replacement, we measure your pool and existing anchor locations to re-use as many anchors as possible. Any new anchors required will be supplied and installed with the cover.

Can you repair a cover that isn’t a Meyco?

Yes. We can repair or make alterations on your existing safety cover even if it’s not a Meyco cover.

How do I put on or remove the cover each season after it’s been installed by you?

When we install a cover, we will give you a tutorial on how to apply and remove the springs, how to work the anchors, and best practices on folding and storing the cover. We also offer an ongoing concierge service for spring and fall to install and remove the cover for you. Our service includes proper adjustment, anchor inspection, gentle washing, folding, and carrying the cover to and from its storage location. This service is available in select locations.

Will the anchors be a tripping hazard in the summer?

No. Once the cover is off, you screw the anchor down with the Allen key we provide and it sits flush with your patio.

Who will install my cover?

Owners Chris or Greg. We’re owner operated: no sales rep and no sub-contractors.

Where do you work?

We’re based in Greer, SC and cover about a 100-mile radius, and we’re licensed and insured in South Carolina and North Carolina. We don’t cover Tennessee. See our service areas, or call or text and we’ll let you know.
