PermaGuard is solid, so it blocks water and all sunlight. With nothing getting into the pool all winter, it gives the cleanest opening of the three options. It’s still lightweight.
Because water can’t drain through, it will puddle on top. That’s why all Meyco solid covers come with an auto-sensing dedicated pool cover pump that remains on top of the cover during winterization to discharge water away from the pool.
Prefer no pump?
A mesh cover drains on its own. RuggedMesh still blocks 99% of light and opens cleaner than lite mesh.
